EN 1090 Certificate , is a harmonized European standard and constitutes the basis of compulsory CE marking for structural components within the scope of 305/2011 Building Materials regulation. This European standard applies to the design and manufacture of steel and aluminum-based structures and components.

EN 1090 Steel and aluminum construction applications CE marking has been mandatory for steel structures and aluminum producers since July 1, 2014. The main purpose of EN 1090 Construction materials regulation is to keep the safety performance of the buildings at the desired level.
