IAS

 IAS is an accreditation body of USA origin. It is a non-profit, public benefit organization that has been providing accreditation services since 1975. IAS accredits a wide variety of companies and organizations, including government agencies, business enterprises and professional associations. IAS accreditation programs are based on recognized national and international standards that ensure their accreditation is recognized domestically and/or globally.

IAS is an institution in the PAC (Pacific Accreditation Cooperation) group, which is also affiliated to the IAF (International Accreditation Forum).

The IAF accredits organizations for the certification of Quality Systems, products, services, personnel, environmental management systems and other conformity assessment programs, organizations that run and manage programs. The IAS Accreditation Body has signed at the IAF declaring their common intention to join the IAF Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MLA), which recognizes the equivalence of their accreditation with other members.
