ISO 22003-1:2022 Transition Announcement
IAF MD 27 Document has been taken as reference while creating this document
ISO 22003-1:2022 is the International Standard for Food Safety - Part 1: Requirements for organizations providing audit and certification of food safety management systems. The new version was published in December 2022.
According to the IAF, a three-year transition period will be granted for this new version in addition to the specific timelines set by the IAF in IAF MD 27.
"IAF MD 27: 2023 - Transition Requirements for ISO 22003-1:2022, this document provides information about the transition requirements from ISO/TS 22003:2013 to ISO 22003-1:2022, which are to be followed by IAF MLA signatory accreditation bodies and KİOSCERT, with the scope detailed in this document. The document is mandatory for all IAF MLA Signatory Accreditation Bodies and KİOSCERT, and the transition period allowed by the IAF is 3 years from the publication date of ISO 22003-1:2022.
ISO/TS 22003:2013 will remain valid for a three-year transition period.
