Cadence by Process Dynamics

Sample at least twice as fast as the main variation period. High-volume lines: hourly/daily. Project-based software: sprint/weekly. Services: daily demand-driven. Over-sampling creates noise; under-sampling slows decisions.

Data Capture Design and Cost–Impact Balance

  • Automation-first: Pull from ERP/MES/CRM; for manual input enforce digital trace.
  • Sampling: Use statistical sampling for high volume; full count for critical quality.
