
ISO 22003-1:2022 Transition Announcement
This document has been prepared with reference to the IAF MD 27 document.
ISO 22003-1:2022 is an international standard that defines the requirements for bodies that audit and certify food safety management systems. The new version was published in December 2022.
Transition Period and References
IAF has determined a three-year transition period for the new version. This period has been calculated in accordance with the IAF MD 27:2023 transition guideline published by the IAF. This document includes the normative requirements to be followed by IAF MLA signatory accreditation bodies and KİOSCERT.
Transition Period
The transition period for ISO 22003-1:2022 is three years from the publication date, December 2022. Organizations are required to complete their transitions within this period.

Within the scope of the transition process, KİOSCERT will act in accordance with the following timeline.

June 30, 2025 | Completion of audits for all certified clients in accordance with ISO 22003-1:2022 |
